LOUISIANA — Baton Rouge police conducted two raids along Wenonah Street last month that led to the arrest of a suspected drug dealer, authorities said.
According to a spokesperson for the Baton Rouge Police Department, 47-year-old Levi Black was arrested in connection with the investigation. Black is accused of possession with intent to distribute marijuana and possession of a firearm with controlled dangerous substances.
Police said officers raided two addresses on Wenonah Street in Baton Rouge on Jan. 23. During the searches, investigators seized a large quantity of marijuana, six firearms, and an undisclosed amount of cash.
Authorities said Black has a prior criminal record that includes previous drug-dealing charges. No additional details about the investigation or potential additional charges were released.
