GEORGIA — A months-long investigation by the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office has led to the arrest of a major alleged drug trafficker at a local hotel.
On Tuesday, the Narcotics Division arrested 45-year-old Roman Kelly at the Quality Inn on Gordon Highway.
Authorities say Kelly was carrying approximately 28 grams of methamphetamine at the time of his arrest.
A search of his hotel room uncovered large quantities of illegal drugs and cash, including:
Kelly is charged with trafficking in fentanyl, methamphetamine, and cocaine. He is currently being held at the Webster Detention Center.
The investigation is ongoing.
