OHIO — A driver crashed into a salon in Solon Wednesday morning after suffering a medical issue, according to police.
Authorities said the crash occurred shortly after 11 a.m. at Moxie Hair Design, located on Station Street. Investigators reported that the driver, a 68-year-old woman, experienced a medical emergency that caused her foot to remain on the accelerator.
Police said the vehicle jumped the curb and crashed into the front of the building, leaving a large hole near the entrance.
No injuries were reported inside the salon.
Emergency crews responded to the scene, and workers were later seen boarding up the damaged portion of the building.
The incident remains under investigation.
