SOUTH CAROLINA — Deputies are on the scene of an apparent standoff Saturday morning in the Johnsonville area, according to Sheriff T.J. Joye.
Joye said a man assaulted a female relative and is now refusing to come out of a home on Macks Lake Road.
The sheriff confirmed the SWAT team has also responded to the scene.
Additional information is expected to be released later Saturday morning.
