NORTH CAROLINA — Raleigh police are investigating a fatal crash that occurred Saturday morning on Interstate 440.
Officers responded to the scene near Capital Boulevard shortly before 9 a.m. Several lanes of I-440 were closed as police worked at the site of the wreck.
Authorities have not released details about what led to the crash, and no additional information was immediately available.
The investigation is ongoing.
