Child struck by vehicle near bus stop in Pennsylvania

PENNSYLVANIA — A 6-year-old child was injured Wednesday morning after being struck by a vehicle near a bus stop in Cambria County, officials reported.

According to Stonycreek Township Police Chief, the child ran out in front of a vehicle around 8:15 a.m. at the intersection of Winter Street and Penrod Street.

Officials said the child sustained minor injuries.

The police chief confirmed that the driver of the vehicle was not at fault.
