ARKANSAS — Buc-ee’s, the popular Texas-based convenience store and travel center chain, is set to open its first Arkansas locations, marking a major expansion for the company.
The first store will be in Benton, Saline County, off Exit 114 on Interstate 30. Groundbreaking for the 75,000-square-foot facility took place in April 2025.
The store will feature 120 gas pumps and create approximately 250 jobs.
Officials estimate the Benton location could attract around 5 million visitors annually. The grand opening is expected in September 2026.
A second Arkansas location is planned for West Memphis in Crittenden County, along Interstate 40, just a short drive from downtown Memphis, Tennessee.
This 74,000-square-foot store will include 120 fueling stations and is expected to create at least 225 jobs. Construction is set to begin soon, with a projected opening in 2025.
Buc-ee’s continues its national expansion beyond Texas, bringing its signature large-scale convenience stores and travel centers to new states, including Arkansas.
