Buc-ee’s to open new location Georgia

GEORGIA — Buc-ee’s is moving forward with plans to build its fourth location in Georgia after receiving approval from the Georgia Environmental Protection Division (EPD).

The Texas-based convenience store and gas station chain was required to obtain a stream buffer variance due to the site’s proximity to state waters.

According to state records, the affected waters are two unnamed tributaries to Deer Creek in the Upper Ocmulgee Watershed.

The EPD issued the approval letter to Buc-ee’s on July 30.

The new Buc-ee’s location in Monroe County is scheduled to open in March 2027. The company opened its third Georgia store in July.
