VIRGINIA — Authorities have launched a death investigation after a man was found with injuries believed to be caused by a vehicle strike.
According to the Roanoke County Police Department, 42-year-old Garon Bowles of Franklin County was discovered in the 5800 block of Peaceful Drive in the Glenvar area on July 7 around 5:45 p.m.
Bowles was transported to a nearby hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
Police say the investigation is ongoing but emphasized that there is no threat to the public at this time.
