
INDIANA — Indianapolis Metropolitan Police are investigating a homicide after a person was found dead inside a vehicle Sunday afternoon on the city’s near northwest side.
Officers were called to the 800 block of West 29th Street around 1:16 p.m. on a report of a death investigation, according to police. The location is near the intersection of West 29th Street and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Street.
When officers arrived, they found a victim inside a vehicle suffering from traumatic injuries. Investigators are treating the case as a homicide.
No additional information about the victim or possible suspects has been released. Police said the investigation remains ongoing.
