FLORIDA — Deputies with the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office are investigating a suspicious death after a body was found inside a home in unincorporated Boca Raton on Friday.
According to the sheriff’s office, deputies were called to the 6000 block of Golf Vista Way just before noon to conduct a welfare check. Upon entering the residence, deputies discovered a deceased individual inside the home.
The agency’s Violent Crimes Division responded to the scene and assumed control of the investigation. Detectives have been at the residence for approximately 10 hours and are awaiting a search warrant to re-enter the home and continue their work.
At this time, investigators have not released the identity of the deceased or any information regarding the cause of death. Officials are classifying the case as a suspicious death and say the investigation remains active and ongoing.
