
VIRGINIA — Authorities are investigating after a body was discovered Sunday morning near Wilkes Ridge Parkway in Goochland County.
According to the Goochland County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were called to a wooded area in the 1600 block of Wilkes Ridge Parkway around 11 a.m., where they found the body.
Officials said there are no signs of foul play and no threat to the public at this time.
The body will be transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner for identification and an autopsy to determine the cause of death.
