TENNESSEE — The Memphis Police Department is investigating after a woman was found dead in the Whitehaven area Saturday morning.
Police said officers responded just after 7:30 a.m. to a report of a person down in the 1600 block of East Holmes Road near Millbranch Road. When officers arrived, they located a woman at the scene.
Authorities said the woman was pronounced dead on the scene. Police have not released her identity or details about what may have led to her death.
