SOUTH CAROLINA — A body was discovered Wednesday morning on Roberts Street in Florence, and authorities have launched a death investigation.
Florence County Coroner Keith von Lutcken confirmed that the body was found on Feb. 11. Community members reported seeing multiple officers gathered near a home on the street.
At this time, the cause of death has not been determined, according to the coroner.
ABC 15 has reached out to the Florence Police Department for additional details. Officials have not released the name of the deceased.
The investigation is ongoing.
