
MICHIGAN — A woman’s body was discovered Sunday evening in Detroit, and homicide detectives have opened an investigation, police said.
According to the Detroit Police Department, officers on patrol found the woman’s body around 6 p.m. on Feb. 8, 2026, near a home in the 1900 block of Hershey Street. Police said the woman’s body was wrapped when it was discovered.
The woman’s identity has not been released, and investigators have not announced any arrests or identified a suspect. The department’s homicide unit is leading the investigation.
