
KENTUCKY — Police have launched a death investigation after a body was discovered Monday morning in Ashland.
According to the Ashland Police Department, emergency responders were called to the 3400 block of Front Street around 8 a.m. after a body was found in the area.
Law enforcement officers, firefighters and EMS responded to the scene in Boyd County, officials said.
The Boyd County Coroner’s Office is working to identify the body.
Authorities have classified the death as suspicious, but police say there is no known danger to the public at this time.
The investigation is ongoing, and officials say additional information will be released as it becomes available.
