ILLINOIS — A 28-year-old man was found dead early Monday morning on the city’s West Side, and authorities have ruled the case a homicide.
Police said officers responded to the 5500 block of West Flournoy Street just after 2:05 a.m. Upon arrival, they discovered the man unresponsive in the street.
The victim was transported to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
No additional details about the circumstances of the death were immediately released. Area detectives are investigating.
