FLORIDA — Authorities are investigating after a body was discovered inside a burning vehicle Friday morning, according to the St. Cloud Police Department.
A homeowner reported seeing a black Kia off the roadway on Virginia Avenue with flames coming from the engine compartment. St. Cloud Fire Rescue responded and extinguished the fire.
Once the fire was out, officials found a body inside the vehicle. The person’s identity has not yet been determined.
Police said they are working with the Medical Examiner’s Office to identify the victim and determine the cause of the fire. The investigation remains ongoing.
