
TENNESSEE — Authorities are investigating after a man was found dead in an alleyway behind a downtown Nashville business Friday morning.
According to the Metro Nashville Police Department, officers discovered the body of a 56-year-old man in the 100 block of Union Street just after 7:30 a.m. on Feb. 20. The location was behind Grumpy’s Bail Bonds.
Police said the man was wearing a hospital band dated Feb. 17. Officials also reported that no drug paraphernalia was found in the immediate area and there were no signs of foul play.
Surveillance cameras in the area reportedly showed the man walking alone near the business shortly before 1 a.m.
No additional details have been released as the investigation continues.
