COLORADO — The Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) is investigating a death after a body was found Thursday morning in an alley near the district attorney’s office.
Police said officers responded to the area around 7:53 a.m. The department’s homicide team was called to the scene, though officials noted there is a possibility that no foul play was involved.
The investigation is centered on East Vermijo Avenue. Authorities have not released additional details about the person found or the circumstances surrounding the death.
CSPD says the investigation remains ongoing.
