Bicyclist injured after being struck by vehicle in Tennessee

TENNESSEE — A bicyclist was seriously injured in a hit-and-run crash Wednesday night in Antioch, according to Metro police.

The incident occurred around 10:30 p.m. in the 600 block of Bell Road.

Police said the bicyclist was struck by a vehicle that fled the scene without stopping.

An update on the victim’s condition was not immediately available.

Investigators are working to obtain video footage of the crash in an effort to identify the driver involved.
