
KENTUCKY — A bicyclist was hospitalized Saturday evening after being struck by a vehicle in Lexington, according to police.
The collision occurred shortly after 5 p.m. at the intersection of Reynolds Road and Ruccio Way, Lexington Police said. Emergency responders arrived at the scene and found a bicyclist who had been hit by a car.
Authorities said the injured bicyclist was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. Police described the injuries as non-life-threatening.
No criminal charges are expected in connection with the crash at this time. Investigators have not released further details about the driver or the circumstances leading up to the incident.
The crash remains under review by Lexington Police.
