PENNSYLVANIA — A man is in critical condition after a bicyclist was hit by two vehicles that fled the scene late Sunday night, according to Allegheny County authorities.
Emergency dispatchers said crews were called to the intersection of Frankstown Avenue and North Lang Avenue at 10:20 p.m.
Responding medics found the bicyclist unresponsive, administered CPR at the scene, and transported him to a nearby hospital.
After reviewing surveillance footage, police determined that two vehicles traveling side by side at a high rate of speed struck the cyclist. Both drivers continued without stopping.
Investigators are working to identify the vehicles and their drivers. Anyone with information is urged to contact Pittsburgh Police.
