
KENTUCKY — A bicyclist died Monday night after being struck by a vehicle in a hit-and-run near the intersection of Chamberlain Lane and Chamberlain Court, Louisville Metro Police said.
Officers responded around 9:45 p.m. to reports that a man on a bicycle had been hit by an unknown passenger vehicle traveling down Chamberlain Lane.
The vehicle entered the intersection and struck the bicyclist, knocking him off the bike. The driver did not stop and fled the scene.
The victim was taken to University of Louisville Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
LMPD’s Traffic Unit is investigating and urges anyone who was in the area or may have surveillance footage of the incident to come forward.
