Authorities searching for missing person in Ohio

OHIO — Authorities are asking for the public’s help in locating 17-year-old Smya Dawn Alfrey, who was reported missing on May 30, 2025.

Smya was last seen in Springfield, Ohio, and has not been heard from since.

Smya is described as a white female, 5 feet 1 inch tall, weighing approximately 130 pounds.

She has brown hair, hazel eyes, and tattoos on both of her hands.

At the time of her disappearance, she was wearing a pink shirt, gray sweatpants, and a black hoodie.
