Authorities searching for missing 16-year-old in Ohio

OHIO — Authorities are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing 16-year-old boy, Simba Chibueze Shakur, who was last seen in Toledo on August 7, 2025.

Simba is described as a Black male, 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighing 130 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.

At the time of his disappearance, he was wearing a black shirt, black pants, and black shoes.

Police said Simba’s family is concerned for his safety and are urging anyone with information about his whereabouts to contact the Toledo Police Department immediately.
