ATHENS COUNTY — The Athens County Sheriff’s Office will host its 3rd Annual Chili Cook-Off on November 2, 2024, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

The event will take place at the Athens Walmart, in the lawn and garden center.

Participants can enter their chili for $20, while attendees can sample and vote for their favorite chili for $5.

Awards will be given to the best chili, and all proceeds will benefit the Joy of Toys program, which provides toys for Athens County children in need.

In addition to the cook-off, there will be a bake sale, and the winners of the signed Joe Burrow football raffle will be announced.
