MOUNT AIRY — Four people were displaced after a fire broke out at an apartment complex in Mount Airy early Friday morning.
The fire occurred on Shadymist Lane at 4:54 a.m., according to fire officials.
Cincinnati fire crews responded to the scene and found flames visible from the exterior of the building’s first floor.
One resident was transported to the hospital in stable condition.
A firefighter also suffered a minor injury after being bitten by one of the four dogs rescued from the complex. Both were treated and are expected to recover.
Firefighters extinguished the blaze within 20 minutes.
