$500,000 lottery ticket winner sold in Ohio

OHIO — A lucky player recently struck it big with a scratch-off lottery ticket purchased at Marshall’s Service on the Darke-Miami County line.

The individual, who remains unnamed, bought an Ohio Lottery “$500,000 Extra Play” ticket for just $10 and came away with the game’s top prize of $500,000.

After taxes, the winner will take home an estimated $360,000, according to the Ohio Lottery.

The winning ticket has generated excitement at the local business, as Marshall’s Service celebrated its role in the jackpot win.

The Ohio Lottery reports that six more $500,000 top prizes remain unclaimed in the game, along with other prize levels, providing additional chances for Ohioans to win.
