$500,000 lottery ticket winner sold in Ohio

OHIO — A Toledo resident is celebrating a big win after claiming a $500,000 top prize on the Monopoly Bonus Spectacular 50Xscratch-off ticket.

The lucky winner, identified as Todd, purchased his ticket at Sheetz #848, located at 6633 Dorr St. in Toledo.

After mandatory state and federal taxes totaling 28%, he will take home approximately $360,000.

Monopoly Bonus Spectacular 50X is a $10 scratch-off game with a top prize of $500,000.

As of April 1, three top prizes remain in the game.

The Ohio Lottery, which has contributed more than $33 billion to education since 1974, offers a variety of games for players across the state.
