$500,000 lottery ticket winner sold in Ohio

OHIO — An Ohio Lottery player is $500,000 richer after winning the top prize on the Home for the Holidays scratch-off game.

The winning ticket was purchased at Giant Eagle #4075, located at 1201 Doral Dr in Boardman.

After state and federal taxes of 28 percent, the winner will take home approximately $360,000.

The Home for the Holidays scratch-off, which costs $10 to play, offers a top prize of $500,000.

As of January 28, there is still one remaining top prize available in the game.
