$500,000 lottery ticket winner sold in Ohio

Ohio Lottery

OHIO — Tracey, an Ohio resident, has kicked off the year with a life-changing win after claiming the $500,000 top prize in the Ohio Lottery’s Lady Luck 50X scratch-off game.

Tracey, who honors her late mother’s love of lottery games by playing scratch-offs every Friday, purchased the winning ticket at Meijer Inc #115, located at 1391 Conant Street in Maumee.

After federal and state taxes, which total 28 percent, she will take home $360,000.

Tracey plans to use her winnings to pay off debt and assist those close to her.

The Lady Luck 50X is a $10 scratch-off game with a $500,000 top prize. As of January 3, one top prize remains available.

The Ohio Lottery has contributed over $33 billion to education since 1974. For more information, visit www.ohiolottery.com.
