$500,000 lottery ticket winner sold in Ohio

OHIO — A Lima man, identified only as Tony, is $500,000 richer after winning big in the Ohio Lottery’s Psychedelic Payoutscratch-off game.

After state and federal taxes of 28 percent, Tony will take home approximately $360,000 in winnings.

The lucky ticket was purchased at AP Truck Stop, located at 1250 Breese St in Lima.

Psychedelic Payout is a $10 scratch-off game with a top prize of $500,000.

As of November 29, 2024, there are still two top prizes remaining in the game.

Since 1974, the Ohio Lottery has contributed more than $32 billion to education.
