
OHIO — A Pataskala man has claimed a major prize from the Ohio Lottery after winning the VIP Millions Scratch-Off game.
The player secured the game’s top prize of $40,000 a year for 25 years but chose to take the $500,000 cash option instead. After federal and state taxes totaling 28 percent, he will receive $360,000.
The winning ticket was sold at Duchess #1105, located at 110 W. Broad St. in Pataskala.
VIP Millions is a $50 Scratch-Off game with a top prize of $40,000 a year for 25 years. As of Sept. 18, there are still 26 top prizes remaining.
