$500,000 lottery ticket winner sold in Ohio

OHIO — A Batavia resident has claimed the $500,000 top prize on the Ohio Lottery’s $500,000 Bankroll scratch-off ticket.

Lottery officials said after state and federal taxes totaling 28 percent, the winner will receive $360,000.

The winning ticket was sold at Glen-Este Marathon, located at 1098 Cincinnati Batavia Pike in Batavia.

$500,000 Bankroll is a $10 ticket that offers a top prize of $500,000. As of Aug. 27, three top prizes remain in the game, according to the Ohio Lottery.
