$500,000 lottery ticket winner sold in Ohio

OHIO — A Xenia man has won the $500,000 top prize on the Ohio Lottery’s $500,000 Cashword Scratch-Off ticket.

After mandatory state and federal taxes totaling 28 percent, the winner will take home $360,000.

The winning ticket was sold at True North #717, located at 11 Ranchview Drive in Vandalia.

$500,000 Cashword is a $10 Scratch-Off game that offers players a chance at a $500,000 prize. As of August 14, two top prizes remain available.
