$500,000 lottery ticket winner sold in Ohio

OHIO — A Cincinnati woman has claimed a top prize from the Ohio Lottery’s VIP Millions scratch-off game, winning $40,000 a year for 25 years.

The winner opted for the cash payout of $500,000. After mandatory federal and state tax withholdings totaling 28%, she will receive $360,000.

The winning ticket was purchased at Ameristop Food Mart, located at 3385 Springdale Road in Cincinnati.

VIP Millions is a $50 scratch-off game offering top prizes of $40,000 annually for 25 years. As of July 31, 2025, there are still 30 top prizes remaining.
