OHIO — An Ohio lottery player won $50,000 in Wednesday night’s Powerball drawing after matching four of the five white balls plus the red Powerball.
According to lottery officials, the winning ticket was sold somewhere in the state, though the exact location has not yet been released. The Sept. 24 drawing produced the winning numbers 15, 31, 45, 49, 53, and Powerball 19.
While no one claimed the jackpot, which now rises to an estimated $145 million, the Ohio ticket-holder secured the game’s third-tier prize.
The next Powerball drawing is scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 27.
