
OHIO — A lucky Powerball player in Ohio is $50,000 richer after Saturday night’s drawing.
According to lottery officials, one ticket matched four of the five winning numbers plus the Powerball, earning the prize.
The winning numbers were 8, 16, 24, 33, and 54, with the Powerball number 18.
While the $234 million jackpot went unclaimed, the $50,000 ticket was sold somewhere in Ohio.
The specific location of the sale has not yet been announced.
The next Powerball drawing is scheduled for Monday, July 14, with an estimated jackpot of $248 million.
