
SOUTH CAROLINA — A $50,000 winning Mega Millions ticket sold in Simpsonville is still waiting to be claimed, according to lottery officials.
The ticket was purchased at V Go #3, located at 800 E. Georgia Road in Simpsonville, for Friday’s drawing. The ticket holder matched four white ball numbers and the gold Mega Ball number and also had a 5X multiplier, boosting the prize to $50,000.
The winning numbers for the drawing were 11, 18, 39, 43 and 67. The Mega Ball number was 23.
Players have 180 days from the date of the drawing to claim their prizes.
Lottery officials noted that net proceeds from every dollar spent on South Carolina Education Lottery games are returned to the state to support education, prizes, retailer commissions and payments to contractors for goods and services.
