
TEXAS — A Powerball ticket sold in Texas won a $50,000 prize in Wednesday night’s drawing, according to lottery officials.
The drawing was held Wednesday, Jan. 28. The winning numbers were 21, 35, 40, 46, and 68, with a Powerball number of 11. The Power Play multiplier for the drawing was 10x.
The Texas ticket matched four of the five white balls and the Powerball, earning a $50,000 prize. Officials have not released details on where in Texas the winning ticket was sold or the identity of the winner.
No ticket matched all six numbers to win the jackpot, which was estimated at $57 million, with a cash value of $25.8 million.
The winning ticket was sold in Texas through the Texas Lottery. Lottery officials remind players to sign the back of their tickets and follow all prize-claiming procedures and deadlines.
