SOUTH CAROLINA — A $50,000 Powerball ticket was sold in South Carolina following Monday night’s drawing, according to lottery officials.

The drawing was held Monday, Feb. 9, 2026, with winning numbers 6, 19, 22, 28, 48, and the Powerball number 24. The Power Play multiplier was 5x. The South Carolina ticket matched four of the five white balls but did not include the Powerball, resulting in a $50,000 prize.

No ticket matched all six numbers to win the jackpot, which was estimated at $113 million, with a cash value of $52.0 million, according to Powerball officials. The jackpot will roll over to the next drawing.

The South Carolina Education Lottery has not yet released the retail location where the winning ticket was sold. Winners are reminded to sign the back of their ticket and contact lottery officials to begin the claims process.

The next Powerball drawing is expected to feature a larger jackpot as the prize continues to grow.
