$50,000 Powerball ticket winner sold in Pennsylvania

PENNSYLVANIA — A ticket sold in Pennsylvania won a $50,000 prize in the Monday, Jan. 5, 2026 Powerball drawing, lottery officials announced.

The winning numbers drawn Monday night were 4, 18, 24, 51, 56, with Powerball number 14. The Power Play multiplier for the drawing was 2x. The Pennsylvania ticket matched four white balls and the Powerball, qualifying for the $50,000 prize.

No ticket matched all six numbers to win the jackpot, which was estimated at $88 million. The cash value option for the top prize was approximately $39.8 million.

Lottery officials have not released information about where in Pennsylvania the winning ticket was sold or the identity of the winner. Winners are reminded to sign the back of their ticket and contact the Pennsylvania Lottery to begin the prize claim process.

With no jackpot winner, the Powerball jackpot will roll over to the next drawing, continuing to grow for players nationwide.
