NORTH CAROLINA — A $50,000 winning Powerball ticket was sold in North Carolina following the Wednesday, Dec. 31, 2025 drawing, according to lottery officials.
The winning numbers drawn were 11, 18, 21, 24, 38, with a Powerball of 26. The Power Play was 10x, which increased prize amounts for players who added the optional multiplier to their ticket.
No ticket matched all six numbers to claim the top prize. The drawing featured an estimated jackpot of $64 million, with a cash value of $29.5 million.
The North Carolina ticket matched four numbers plus the Powerball, earning the $50,000 prize. The North Carolina Education Lottery has not yet released details on where the winning ticket was sold.
The jackpot will roll over to the next drawing, giving players another opportunity to win big in the multi-state Powerballlottery.
