ILLINOIS — One winning Powerball ticket worth $50,000 was sold in Illinois following the Saturday, Feb. 21, 2026 drawing.
According to Powerball officials, the winning numbers were 27, 28, 36, 48 and 49, with the Powerball number 21. The Power Play multiplier was 4x.
While no ticket matched all six numbers to claim the estimated $190 million jackpot, one ticket sold in Illinois matched four white balls and the Powerball to win a $50,000 prize. The retailer that sold the winning ticket has not yet been announced.
The estimated cash value of Saturday’s jackpot was $88.7 million. With no grand prize winner, the jackpot will roll over to the next drawing and continue to increase.
Powerball drawings are held three times a week. Players are encouraged to check their tickets carefully and sign the back of any winning ticket to ensure their prize can be claimed.
