OHIO — Earlier this month, the Ohio State Highway Patrol partnered with law enforcement agencies from six states to crack down on drugs and illegal weapons.
The coordinated effort, part of the 6-State Trooper Project, took place from March 6 to March 8.
During the operation, Ohio troopers arrested 37 individuals for drug-related offenses and 13 for illegal weapons violations.
Across all participating states—Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, and Ohio—a total of 343 drug arrests and 78 illegal weapons arrests were made.
The 6-State Trooper Project is a multi-agency initiative focused on highway safety, criminal enforcement, and intelligence sharing.
