GEORGIA — Georgia has another lottery millionaire just days after a metro Atlanta player claimed a $980 million Mega Millions jackpot.
According to the Georgia Lottery, a ticket purchased at the Sunny Food Mart in Ocilla matched all five white-ball numbers in Tuesday’s drawing, winning $4 million.
The player, who has not been identified, missed only the Mega Ball, which would have secured the $50 million jackpot. The ticket included a built-in 4x multiplier, quadrupling the standard $1 million Match 5 prize.
The winning numbers were 5-10-23-27-30, with a Mega Ball of 10.
With no jackpot winner, the Mega Millions top prize increases to $60 million for Friday night’s drawing. Meanwhile, the Powerball jackpot has climbed to $593 million ahead of Wednesday’s drawing.
