FLORIDA — The Polk County Sheriff’s Office announced multiple arrests following a yearlong investigation into a large-scale drug trafficking organization.
Dubbed Operation Capital City Crackdown, the operation primarily targeted activity in Bartow, Florida. Sheriff Grady Judd identified Nathaniel “Nate” Donald, Bryan “B” Myrick, and Isaiah “Bubba” Donald as central figures in the organization.
Another suspect, Troy Walker, was indicted for first-degree murder after arranging a narcotics transaction with Irene Anderson, who later died from acute cocaine toxicity, according to the sheriff’s office.
In total, 32 suspects were arrested. Investigators said the effort involved extensive collaboration among the PCSO Organized Crime Unit, the High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area Task Force, the state attorney’s office, Homeland Security Investigations, U.S. Border Patrol, the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, the FBI, and local police departments in Bartow and Auburndale, among others.
Sheriff Judd praised the coordinated effort, emphasizing the commitment to dismantling dangerous criminal organizations in Polk County.
