$300,000 lottery ticket winner sold in Ohio

OHIO — A lucky lottery player in Toledo has won the top prize of $300,000 on the Ohio Lottery’s Special Edition Cashwordscratch-off.

The winning ticket was purchased at Speedway #3615, located at 5904 W Central Ave.

After federal and state taxes, the winner will take home approximately $216,000.

Special Edition Cashword is a $5 scratch-off game with a top prize of $300,000.

As of February 24, 2025, two top prizes remain unclaimed.
