OHIO — Ohio Lottery officials are reminding players to check their tickets after a $3.5 million jackpot-winning ticket was sold in northeast Ohio.

According to Ohio Lottery documents, the Classic Lotto jackpot was won Wednesday, Feb. 4, after one ticket matched all six numbers drawn. The total jackpot payout was reported as $3,518,374.

The winning ticket was a man-picked selection purchased at Mapco, located at 997 Brown Street in Akron, lottery officials said.

The winning numbers were 6, 8, 16, 20, 26 and 45.

Classic Lotto is a traditional lotto-style game offered by the Ohio Lottery. The jackpot starts at $1 million and increases by at least $100,000 each time there is no winner. The odds of winning the jackpot are 1 in 13,983,816.

Lottery officials encourage anyone who purchased a Classic Lotto ticket in the area to check their numbers.
